The society of fire protection engineers (ASDFE) was established in 2016.

The purpose of ASDFE is Environmental Protection and Preservation, Friendship between People, Economic Development, Cultural, Religious, Scientific and Educational Services.

• Issuing newspaper bulletins or awareness or magazine in the areas of environment, energy, safety, disaster and fire protection.
• Work in the areas of arbitration and evaluation between the parties in the field of safety, occupational health, environment, energy and fire protection.
• Studying local and international codes and presenting the developments related to their development locally to the responsible authorities in the country.
• Establishing projects that save energy, environment, safety, disasters and fire protection.
• Obtaining patents in the field of energy, environment, safety, occupational health, fire protection, marketing and assisting the inventor to implement them.
• These activities shall be carried out in accordance with Article 48 of the Implementing Regulations.
• Making cooperation agreements to develop engineers in the fields of energy, safety, disasters, environment and fire protection by qualifying them to practice the profession.
• Provide technical, engineering and management advising for all government and private agencies.
• Training and dissemination of environmental awareness and achieve safety from disasters and fire protection through training courses and scientific conferences and research specialized in this area and the development of the skills of individuals in these areas
• Establishing institutes and universities after obtaining the approval of the competent authorities.
• Facilitating Hajj and Umrah for members.
